Welcome to ApptX, an AI-powered patient booking platform developed by PolyArc Venture Partners LLC (ApptX), incorporated in Sharjah Media City (SHAMS), Sharjah, UAE ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ApptX platform ("Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you confirm your agreement to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Service.

ApptX is an AI-powered patient booking platform that helps medical clinics to schedule patient appointments, and send them reminders.

To use the Service, you must be legally authorised to act on your own accord in the UAE, be at least 18 years of age, and use the platform in accordance with UAE laws and regulations, including those related specifically to data protection.

You may need to register for an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. Any activity under your account will be considered your responsibility.

You agree to use the platform lawfully and in accordance with the UAE's Federal Laws, not misuse the Service to discriminate, harass, or violate in any way, and ensure your services are lawful, fair, and transparent.

We process all user and candidate data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable. Specifically, you (as a data controller) are responsible for ensuring lawful collection and processing of patient  data, we (as a data processor) will process such data only on your instructions and for the limited purpose of delivering the Service, we will implement technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from loss, misuse, or unauthorised access, we maintain a Data Protection Officer (DPO) for privacy matters: Jonathan Liemann (jonathan@apptx.ai), all international data transfers are secured through Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and other appropriate safeguards, you agree to provide patients with appropriate disclosures about the use of AI in the appoitnmetn booking process and obtain any necessary consents.

All materials, software, models, logos, and content provided through Apptx remain the intellectual property of ApptX or its licensors. You may use them solely for your internal appointmetn booking purposes. You may not copy, resell, or repurpose them for external or commercial redistribution.

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that our AI appointment booking will be error-free or meet every booking need, continuous availability or performance of the platform, and we make no representations or warranties regarding appointment outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted under UAE law, ApptX and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of business or data, arising out of or connected with your use of the platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service without prior notice if you breach these Terms, you use the Service for unlawful or unethical purposes, or you attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the platform.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UAE jurisdiction.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice via email or through the platform. Continued use of the Service after such updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
